Buckfast queen mated & ready to ovulate

Our vital Buckfast queens are carefully bred and ready for use in your bee colony. They have been mated to mating sites and have been in egg laying for at least three weeks. Each queen is marked with an opalite plate and is supplied in a cage with a feed dough seal.

Shipping & delivery
• Shipping: Only possible within Switzerland (postage + CHF 10.00), collection on site in Toffen by arrangement.
• Delivery: Usually the following day by post

🔹 Notes on acceptance & placement
• Place in a prepared hive as quickly as possible on arrival. Otherwise moisten with a few drops of water.
• Storage: At room temperature, without draughts or direct sunlight
• Incubation:
- Hang in a colony without queen cells, a brood frame or an artificial swarm
Remove queen cells in advance!
